Red Thread is a Fungus That Needs Lawn Spraying
If you notice your lawn getting brown and then bright red threads going through it, you are looking at a fungus that is always found in the lawn but becomes active when the weather gets wet and humid, similar to dollar spot and other fungi. Even though it is unsightly to look at, it is quite easy to control. The damage is only to the leaves or blades of grass and not to the roots themselves. Therefore, if treated properly with an effective lawn spraying program and lawn fertilization, the grass can be green and healthy in no time. If it isn’t treated properly, those red threads, which is the actual fungus, will be broken off by walking on them, watering the lawn or mowing the lawn, causing the fungus to spread to other areas of the lawn. Don’t wait to start a tree spraying and tree fertilization program.
